What is the difference between a Friend and a Contact?

A Friend is a user that is already on DearReal while a Contact is a user that is in your contacts but not on DearReal yet.

You can Introduce and Vouch for Contacts as you would with Friends. These will show once they join DearReal.

Your contacts show on your app while they do not show on your DearReal Friend’s app. To show on the app and become a potential Friend the user has to approve our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions and set up the visibility settings that suit them.
